The Difference of Ceramic Ball Mill and Traditional Ball Mill

As for traditional ball mill, in its working process, the grinding balls are brought by the centrifugal force produced by the rotation of the equipment to a certain height, and impact and grind the materials under gravity. Ceramic ball mill also works like this, but the difference is that the particles ground by ceramic ball mill will go into the spiral classifier which will separate and classify the qualified products, and the coarse particles will be returned to ceramic ball mill for re-grinding, for this reason, the selection of the specific particles is more reasonable for ceramic ball mill.

2. In the grinding process, ceramic ball mill adopts autotransformer starting, which reduces the starting current and can save more electricity. Compared with traditional ball mill, ceramic ball mill has higher working efficiency and more stable production process which is closely related to its design structure. The curved relieving tool not only avoids the over abrasion of the middle part of the grinding roll and the grinding ring, but increases the effective working surface and increases the output. In the meantime, the main transmission device of ceramic ball mill adopts closed gear which enhances the stability of the transmission.
