1. The breaking point on the spiral classifier’s shaft is worn out. The rupture on the spiral classifier’s shaft is directly facing the pulp-discharging chute. Due to the long-term washing of the torrential pulp or the erosion of the vortex formed by the turbulent pulp, the classifier shaft is liable to uneven wear and tear in this point.
2. Abnormal shut-down of the spiral classifier. Abnormal shut-down will cause the mineral sand in the cell of spiral classifier without circular overflow, and the excessive coarse sand deposits burden more load on the screw part when re-booting.
3. During the operating process of spiral classifier, because the one-time landing distance of the screw that the operator brings down is too large, it results in the loads on both large and small blades oversize, and thus causes the classifier shaft to break.
