Practical Experience in Improving the Efficiency of Cone Crusher

Cone crusher is a crusher machine that has wide application in various industries. In its production process, to improve working efficiency of cone crusher, reduce its running cost and increase the economic benefits of the companies, we can start from the following points:

(1) Realize full chamber feeding

When manufacturing the feeding device, pay attention to the relationship of the speed and the drop of the ores going into the crushing chamber and choose suitable falling height to make sure the ores will not directly scour the feeder machine and that the distributor evenly sends the ores into the crusher equipment. While feeding the crusher with full chamber, pay attention to evenly feeding the materials and control the height of the ores inside the feeder machine. If the materials are too big, the crusher load will obviously increase, and the materials will not be able to be smoothly discharged out of the crushing chamber and may stick to the crushing zone and cause over load. If the materials are too small, the ores will directly go through the crushing chamber, which will cause a great waste.

(2) Keep the temperature of the lubricating grease balanced

As the heat dissipation of the lubricant for the main lubricating parts is mainly fulfilled by the lubrication system, it is necessary to choose suitable cooling heatsink. The main lubrication parts include principal axis, eccentric sleeve, eccentric shaft, frame bearing, the sliding bearing surface between principal axis and adjusting piston and gear transmission.

(3) Prevent the ore powders from going into the cylinder and extend the service life of the sealing ring

Every time changing the lining board, check whether the sealing ring of the movable cone is complete. Under normal condition, when the wore clearance between the sealing ring and the sliding ring is bigger than 1.5mm, it is necessary to change the sealing ring to prevent ore powders from going into the cylinder to cause the abrasion of the key spare parts such as cylinder liner and principal axis.
